Hardlock Driver Installer: Readme

This device driver installer supports the Windows x86 and Windows x64 platforms. The installer detects the version of the operating system at run-time, before installing the relevant drivers.

Supported Operating Systems

32-bit: Windows 95, Windows 98SE, Windows ME, Windows NT, Windows 2000
32- and 64-bit: Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008

Issue Addressed

The rare case in which a Hardlock USB key that was manufactured between 2006 and 2008 failed, due to numerous HL_CODE calls, has been addressed. This version of the device driver significantly reduces the occurrence of the problem and eliminates the need to replace keys in the field.
The solution applies to Windows 2000 operating systems, and later.
